» Kellogg's
Before I moved to Publicis Dialog I worked at a company called IMC. I'd been doing work for Unilever & Unipath on the account handling and strategy/planning side when a brief came in for the Kellogg's Med Area website - one site covering Greece, the Middle East, Israel and Turkey in five languages. This was back in 2000. IMC had never built a website, and neither had I.I was given the brief because I liked technolgy and creative and was the only one who could read it without crying. Over the next couple of weeks I gave myself a crash course in interactive marketing and how to programme HTML, then wrote a pitch and creative strategy and delivered it against JWT and Hard Reality (Leo Burnett). Somehow we won.
In the end we developed www.kelloggs-alarabi.com, www.kelloggs-hellas.com, www.kelloggs-turkiye.com and www.kelloggs.co.il. Over the next few years we added www.kelloggs.lv and www.kelloggsid.com (an interactive, password protected market management, and distributor training platform). We also built an XML driven plasma touchscreen market/marketing data system called Medberg for Kellogg's UK Offices in Manchester using interactive graphs and video.
During my time at IMC I was responsible for the conception, planning and build of these sites plus many promotional microsites including making HTML, flash, actionscript, 3D animation and visuals, and XML content management systems. I also got to work very closely with the client who was great and other roster agencies. Considering the resources available and time scales involved I think we pulled it off. Below are just a few screenshots of the work done.
